This section of the site contains tutorials for using electronic library resources (e.g., the LLRC's catalog, citation databases, etc.) as well as guides (or "pathfinders") for researching a specific subject.
LLRC Catalog
- All search terms are treated as being truncated. This means that a search for the word "compound" will actually find anything containing this root, such as "compounds" and "compounding". This can be very useful, but it may also give you inaccurate results. For example, searching for the author "King" will also return the name "Hocking".
- To see a list of the library's e-books, simply choose the "Online only" option and submit the form without entering any search terms.
- Along the same lines, you can view all books at a particular campus by selecting the appropriate option on the form ("Garden campus only" or "Slate Creek campus only") and clicking "Search".
